Prior to founding Heartland Dental in 1997 and introducing dentists to the highest quality non-clinical administrative support, Dr. Rick Workman practiced dentistry for nearly 20 years. Realizing there had to be a better way, he assembled a team that would grow to provide support to more than 1,150 offices nationwide. Today, Dr. Workman serves as the company's Executive Chairman. An advocate for professional development, he devotes time to providing leadership advice through various speaking engagements.

Dr. Angie Nauman has been practicing dentistry since 2001 and is living her dream job. A dental graduate of the University of Nebraska, she is a constant student, learning new and innovative ways to provide care to her patients in Tulsa, OK. She has a special passion for dental sleep medicine and during COVID, she learned more about pediatric sleep management. She is a mom of 5 children and she and her husband enjoy spending time with their children riding 4-wheelers and teaching them life lessons.
